The ECHDA symbol was designed by Ken Conway.  The words translate into English as: skill, tradition and excellence.  The symbols are of the Lion Rampant, a thistle, a dancer and a maple leaf placed in between two swords.

The Executive Board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, who are elected at the annual general meeting held of the third Monday of January every year.  A standing committee shall consist of Fund Raising, Management, Professionals, Kitchen and/or Committees deemed necessary by the general membership.
